HK Collectors! Here’s one that you’ve been looking for! This is a very hard to find complete HK P9S Sport Group III package…complete & appears unfired since factory test fire!! The P9S is an interesting pistol and uses a form of HK’s strong and reliable roller locking system (as used in various rifles…HK91, HK93, etc). It incorporates a double action trigger (DA/SA), has a slide mounted safety, a frame mounted cocking lever that doubles as a slide release, and a cocking indicator that protrudes from the rear of the slide when the pistol is fully cocked. The barrels feature polygonal rifling. The grip frame is constructed largely of a composite material with molded-in checkering and finger grooves (the bearing surfaces and internal components are steel). This variant of the P9S comes complete with two slide & barrel assemblies…each component serial numbered to the frame. The Sport slide features an adjustable rear sight, 5″ barrel, and barrel weight with front sight. It is accompanied by the over-sized wood target grip. The Combat slide features a 4″ barrel with conventional sights and a standard polymer grip is included. Condition is excellent and the gun appears “as new”. Two magazines are provided…both appear new, never loaded. This set comes in the factory case which is serial numbered to the pistol. Also included is the factory test target, owner’s manual, warranty card, wrenches & barrel weight alignment tool. The test target and “IB” date code on the pistol indicate 1981 production.
