FN/BROWNING ~ HI-POWER CAPITAN 1 of 150 FACTORY ENGRAVED D-DAY COMMEMORATIVES! C&R OK!
Browning Hi-Power collectors! Here’s a tough one to locate. This is a Belgian made/Belgian engraved “D-DAY COMMEMORATIVE” that was manufactured to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Allied landing at Normandy. The D-Day landing would eventually free Belgium and the rest of occupied Europe from the Nazis during WWII. There were just 150 of these produced, this one signed by FN engraver Edouard Vos. There is intricate floral scroll engraving on both sides of the frame and slide. The left side of the slide has gold lettering which reads “NORMANDY JUNE 6, 1944″; the right side is marked “D-DAY COMMEMORATIVE”, also in gold. The left side of the frame is engraved Made in Belgium. The top of the slide features more scroll engraving as well as the gold bust of Dwight D. Eisenhower, Supreme Allied Commander. Above this is a grouping of flags representing those nations involved in the D-Day landing. The trigger, hammer, safeties, slide stop, rear sight button, magazine release, and grip screws are all gold plated. The grips are bordered smooth walnut stocks. These also received special serial numbers. Chambered for the 9mm Parabellum, this is a variation of the desirable “Capitan” model and it features the adjustable 500-meter tangent style rear sight with front sight dovetailed to the slide. Being of later production, it also features the improved elongated ambidextrous safety levers. Condition is excellent and the pistol is new in every way, never fired and free of handling marks, storage issues, or other detractors. It comes in the original factory box with a Browning letter of authenticity, FN factory certificate, owner’s manuals, two 13-round magazines, and cleaning rod. Note: the Norma ammunition box is empty (no cartridges) and is for display as it fills a slot in the case.
A beautiful handgun that is seldom available for sale!

HECKLER & KOCH HK P9S SPORT — GROUP III 9mm…2 Slides/Bbls…RARE & UNFIRED
HK Collectors! Here’s one that you’ve been looking for! This is a very hard to find complete HK P9S Sport Group III package…complete & appears unfired since factory test fire!! The P9S is an interesting pistol and uses a form of HK’s strong and reliable roller locking system (as used in various rifles…HK91, HK93, etc). It incorporates a double action trigger (DA/SA), has a slide mounted safety, a frame mounted cocking lever that doubles as a slide release, and a cocking indicator that protrudes from the rear of the slide when the pistol is fully cocked. The barrels feature polygonal rifling. The grip frame is constructed largely of a composite material with molded-in checkering and finger grooves (the bearing surfaces and internal components are steel). This variant of the P9S comes complete with two slide & barrel assemblies…each component serial numbered to the frame. The Sport slide features an adjustable rear sight, 5″ barrel, and barrel weight with front sight. It is accompanied by the over-sized wood target grip. The Combat slide features a 4″ barrel with conventional sights and a standard polymer grip is included. Condition is excellent and the gun appears “as new”. Two magazines are provided…both appear new, never loaded. This set comes in the factory case which is serial numbered to the pistol. Also included is the factory test target, owner’s manual, warranty card, wrenches & barrel weight alignment tool. The test target and “IB” date code on the pistol indicate 1981 production. A real prize for the HK lover!

Auction: Sig Sauer P220 semi-automatic
Now up for auction: a Sig Sauer P220 semi-automatic pistol. NOTE: Auction ends May 1, 2011. Chambered for the effective .45 ACP, this pistol features double-action operation (DA/SA) with a frame mounted decocker. It has a 2-tone finish…the steel slide is factory electroless nickel plated and the alloy frame anodized black. This pistol is in very good condition overall but has some fine rust freckling in some areas on the slide (this pistol used to live near the Oregon coast). The original grips have been replaced with a set of Hogue rubber grips. The mechanics are in perfect working order and the bore is excellent. Comes in factory plastic case with five magazines (3 factory, 2 good quality aftermarket), each showing some wear. According to the “KF” marking on the underside of the slide, this pistol was manufactured in 1995.
Auction: Walther PPK Nazi Era 7,65mm
Now up for auction: a somewhat scarce WWII German handgun. This Walther PPK was manufactured later during WWII and is unique in that it utilizes a lightweight “Dural” aluminum alloy frame. NOTE: Auction ends May 1, 2011. Chambered for the 7,65mm (.32 ACP), this pistol is properly matching, and is NOT import marked. The right side of the slide, chamber and tip of barrel have the Nazi Eagle/N test proofs. Overall condition is very good with the usual fading of the anodized finish on the frame. The slide shows general thinning and some fine pitting near the muzzle and left rear. The original black 1-piece grips are in good condition but do have one crack at the top of the back strap and a small chip beneath the safety lever. The mechanics are in good working order and the bore is excellent with bright, sharp rifling. A popular and reliable pistol, this PPK would be especially easy to carry weighing in at less than 17-ounces.
Auction: Mauser Model 1910 pistol
Now on the auction block: a very cool Mauser Model 1910 pocket pistol that was sold to Portugal after WWI. NOTE: Auction ends May 1, 2011. Chambered for the 6,35mm (.25 ACP), this pistol is all original and not import or “Germany” marked. All serial numbered parts are properly matching and it bears the small “triangle in a circle” proof on the rear of the frame which identifies it as a Portuguese contract pistol. Overall condition is very good and the pistol retains most of the original blue finish. There is some scattered patina, some fading on the front strap, and a small amount of pitting to the right front of slide. The grips are good but there is some handling wear as well as some chipping to the top of the backstrap. The mechanics appear to be in perfect working order while the bore rates fair to good with strong rifling that exhibits some light pitting (still quite shootable). Comes with one correct solid bottom, Mauser banner marked magazine.
Auction: Walther Model 9
Now on auction: a Walther Model 9, one of the smallest commercially successful pistols ever made! NOTE: Auction ends May 1, 2011. Similar in many ways to the Browning Vest Pocket, this pistol is chambered for 6,35mm (.25 ACP). It remains in very good mechanical condition however the bore is frosted throughout. This pistol carries Czech proof markings which indicate it was the 932nd pistol to be proofed in 1927. It has been renickled and retains about 95% bright finish with some dark areas in the cocking serrations. The grips are excellent, free of cracks or chips. There are no import markings and the slide is serial numbered to the frame. A tiny little pistol that weighs just 9-ounces in spite of all steel construction.
